Bei den Kartons war es so: Ich war neugierig, was in ihnen steckt. Welche raffinierte , zweckmäßige , exakte Architektur. Deswegen habe ich sie entfaltet. Und dann habe ich sie so schön gemacht, dass man sie kaum noch wiedererkennen konnte. Das Werk eines Zauberers.

Here’s what happened with the cardboard boxes: I was curious to see what was inside them—what ingenious, functional, and precise architecture lay within. That’s why I unfolded them. And then I made them so beautiful that they were barely recognizable. The work of a magician.
