CÖLN CONNECTS

Projektbeschreibung

Zunächst warum: Cöln statt Köln? Cöln, mit „C“; so wurde Köln im Rückblick auf die Römerzeit (Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium /CCAA ) und seit der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts nach dem Willen von König Friedrich Wilhelm IV geschrieben. Später – ab 1919 -war Cöln dann Köln.

CÖLN CONNECTS , das Nachfolgeprojekt von CORONA HUGS

- knüpft an CORONA HUGS an, indem es dessen Netzwerk erhält und erweitert,

CÖLN CONNECTS ist

- geschichtsbewusst,

- verpflichtet den Idealen der

• - Toleranz,
• - Verbindung,
• - Offenheit und nicht zuletzt der:

- Solidarität und Hilfsbereitschaft.

CÖLN CONNECTS

• stellt Verbindungen in der und durch die Zeit her,
• stellt Verbindungen her zwischen Menschen in:
• - Wirtschaft und
• - Kultur
• - auf verschiedenen räumlichen Ebenen:
• - innerhalb der Stadt,
• - im Land,
• - in Europa und

- weltweit.

Die allgemeine Ausrichtung von CÖLN CONNECTS eröffnet also einen großen Horizont von praktischen Projekten, in die sich alle Netzwerker mit guten Vorschlägen und Unterstützung jeglicher Art einbringen können.

Als Nachfolgeprojekt von CORONA HUGS konserviert CÖLN CONNECTS die bestehende Fotoausstellung über das heutige Köln im Netz und wird diese Ausstellung erweitern. Genauso wie das CÖLN CONNECTS - Netzwerk.

Project Description


First, why “Cöln” instead of “Köln”? “Cöln,” with a “C”—that is how “Köln” was spelled in reference to Roman times (Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium /CCAA) and, since the mid-19th century, by decree of King Frederick William IV. Later—starting in 1919—Cöln became Köln.

CÖLN CONNECTS, the follow-up project to CORONA HUGS
- builds on CORONA HUGS by maintaining and expanding its network,

CÖLN CONNECTS is
- historically conscious,
- committed to the ideals of
- tolerance,
- connection,
- openness, and, last but not least,
- solidarity and helpfulness.

CÖLN CONNECTS
- forges connections within and across time,
- forges connections between people in:
- business and
- culture
- at various spatial levels:
- within the city,
- within the state,
- in Europe and
- worldwide.

The general focus of CÖLN CONNECTS thus opens up a wide range of practical projects in which all networkers can participate with good suggestions and support of any kind.

As the successor project to CORONA HUGS, CÖLN CONNECTS preserves the existing online photo exhibition about contemporary Cologne and will expand this exhibition. Just like the CÖLN CONNECTS network.

En primer lugar, ¿por qué «Cöln» en lugar de «Köln»? «Cöln», con «C»: así se escribía Colonia en la época romana (Colonia Claudia Ara Agrippinensium /CCAA) y, desde mediados del siglo XIX, por voluntad del rey Federico Guillermo IV. Más tarde, a partir de 1919, Cöln pasó a ser Köln.

CÖLN CONNECTS, el proyecto sucesor de CORONA HUGS
- toma el relevo de CORONA HUGS, manteniendo y ampliando su red,

CÖLN CONNECTS es
- consciente de la historia,
- comprometido con los ideales de la
- la tolerancia,
- la conexión,
- la apertura y, no por último, de:
- la solidaridad y la disposición a ayudar.

CÖLN CONNECTS
- establece conexiones en el tiempo y a través de él,
- establece conexiones entre personas en:
- la economía y
- la cultura
- en diferentes niveles espaciales:
- dentro de la ciudad,
- en el estado,
- en Europa y
- en todo el mundo.

La orientación general de CÖLN CONNECTS abre, por tanto, un amplio horizonte de proyectos prácticos en los que todos los miembros de la red pueden participar con buenas propuestas y apoyo de cualquier tipo.

Como proyecto sucesor de CORONA HUGS, CÖLN CONNECTS conserva en la red la exposición fotográfica existente sobre la Colonia actual y la ampliará. Al igual que la red CÖLN CONNECTS.
