Der Fotograf und Künstler Franz Huempfner erinnnert sich an Moholy-Nagys Bemühungen um die Anerkennung der Fotografie und des Films als der Malerei ebenbürtige künstlerische Gestaltungsmittel, wie sie Moholy in seinem Buch von 1925 "Painting, Photography, Film" beschrieb. Franz Hümpfner lotet mit dieser Serie die Schnittpunkte von Malerei und Fotografie aus.
